Application for a regular Interreg BSR project submitted

Today, 21st of June, the lead partner, Paulius Rapalis, Klaipeda University, submitted the D-Twin Baltic application through the online BAMOS+ system.

The application has been detailed through a strong collaborative effort by the project partners. The start of the three year project is planned to the 1st of March 2025 in case of positive evaluation.

The D-Twin Baltic project consortium is finalised

During the last two and a half months the project consortium has been working hard to enlarge and finalise the partnership.

D-Twin Baltic submits Project Idea Form

The D-Twin Baltic project consortium has been expanded with the following partners:

Klaipedos venduo has expressed an interest to be part of the application for a regular Interreg project as an Associated Organisation.

The Project Idea Form (PIF) has been submitted to the Interreg Baltic Sea Region Programme as the first step to get access to the online submission system.

Projektpartner meeting at RecoPark

On the 26th of March NSR and BEIC meet at RecoPark in Helsingborg to discuss the participation in the application for a regular D-Twin Baltic Interreg project.

Rickard Heed, Linn Möller, Kent Davidsson and Eva Stål, NSR and  Jörgen Held, BEIC participated in the meeting.

The meeting ended with a highly appreciated guided tour by Kent Davidsson and Linn Möller.

D-Twin Baltic Project Meeting

On the 21st of March, the D-Twin Baltic online consortium meeting took place.

The seed funding project has been prolonged until 30 November 2024 and Klaipeda University will take the Lead Partner role regarding the application for a regular Interreg project.

The next project meeting is scheduled to the 8th of April at 13:00 CET.

Prolongation accepted

The Swedish Institute has accepted a prolongation of the D-Twin Baltic seed funding project until end of November 2024.

Klaipeda University will take the Lead Partner role in the application for a regular Interreg project.

D-Twin Baltic applied for a prolongation

On the 31st of January BEIC applied for a prolongation of D-Twin Baltic with 6 months to be able to find a new Lead Partner for the application of a regular Interreg project, strengthen the project consortium and define roles and responsibilities.

If approved by the Swedish Institute, the new end date will be the 30th of September 2024.

D-Twin Baltic at Energy Agency Southern Sweden´s consultation meeting

On the 1st December, D-Twin Baltic participated in the Energy Agency Southern Sweden’s consultation meeting organised by Biogas Syd.

The consultation meeting is an excellent platform to meet and discuss with stakeholders interested in biogas, waste management and environmental challanges.

Sabine Täuber, Biogas Syd, greeted the participants welcome and the day continued with interesting presentations around biogas.

The D-Twin Baltic workshop presentations are public available

On the 10th of November the D-Twin Baltic workshop followed by a study tour at RecoPark’s two pyrolysis units took place.

The D-Twin Baltic workshop was organised as a hybrid event.

After the workshop, Eva Stål, NSR AB, gave a guided tour to the pilot scale and the commercial scale pyrolysis units.

D-Twin Baltic workshop on the 10th of November

On the 10th of November the D-Twin Baltic workshop takes place as a hybrid event at RecoPark in Helsingborg.

RecoPark is NSR’s competence and development centre, where waste is transformed into valuable resources for the circular economy and at the same time the environmental burden is reduced.
